Halloween Candy is Cursed!

http://www.charismamag.com/index.php...ting-halloween

"During this period demons are assigned against those who participate in the rituals and festivities. These demons are automatically drawn to the fetishes that open doors for them to come into the lives of human beings. For example, most of the candy sold during this season has been dedicated and prayed over by witches.

I do not buy candy during the Halloween season. Curses are sent through the tricks and treats of the innocent whether they get it by going door to door or by purchasing it from the local grocery store. The demons cannot tell the difference."

There is lots more. It would be just plain hilarious, except that it is so pathetic. Furthermore, this woman (approvingly quoted by Pat Robertson) makes a living peddling this stuff.

How can people be so stupid?

Are the witches at the candy factories? Or the warehouses? Or do they sneak into the stores at night to pray over the candy? I want the details.

Of course there are witches at the factory. How else do they get the candy to taste so goooood?

Actually, the Halloween candy concession is run by Nigerian child witches. Please buy often and devil bless you.

Somewhere, there is a fine distinction between having your own point of view and being neurotically disconnected from reality. This dingbat is about 120 feet on the wrong side of that line. :lol2:

I wonder where she thinks candy comes from the other 364 days of the year.

SamIam 10-30-2009 08:30 PM

That's a good question. I wonder if you eat Halloween candy after Halloween if its still cursed or not. And don't forget that no good devil, the Easter Bunny - pagan fertility rites and all that.

Maybe the spell only works for 24 hours. After all the black cats are ritualistically sacrificed who needs hexed candy.

You guys think Elspode and I are going into the Walmart to shop? Silly muggles.

SamIam 10-31-2009 10:41 AM

Of course you are. I can see you two in the candy aisle right now, muttering incantations. ;)

richlevy 10-31-2009 11:43 AM

Of course it's cursed. If you have to much of it, your clothes magically shrink.

It's not like this article wa published in USA Today or on the BBC. It's in a magazine dedicated to this sort of drivel.

this from a woman who has willingly (or at least with the consent of her parents) allowed herself to be possessed by a ghost

Possess her?
I don't even know her.
I was in Buffalo.
You can't prove otherwise.
