I very sensibly ignored the small voice at the back of my head saying 'Go....go to the auction...' and made the decision that I am not going to be there and do not want to own my own Dalek. My house is too small.

Anyway, they'd have a hell of a job getting up the stairs.
Imagine trying to send one to bed early because he'd spent too much time with his mates plotting cosmic domination.
And never ask one to tidy his room. Therein lies disaster.

I wasn't a real fan, but I did watch my share of Dr.Who episodes on PBS back in the day. The shaggy hair guy with the long scarf was my favorite.

Y'know...reading this back, it is slightly disturbing to me that the reason I have for not wanting a dalek is a lack of houseroom, as opposed to the price tag :P
