NCAAB - College Basketball - March Madness
Mid-west
I can see Kansas or Michigan State Beating Georgetown. West I love Rautins for Syracuse, but I would not be suprised if Florida State pulled the upset of the tournament and takes them out early. Xavier and maybe Pittsburgh stand out a little bit on the other side of the draw. East This is a tough one to figure out. Wisconsin may prove to be superior to Kentucky. On the other side of the draw, Marquette or New Mexico might be there, rather than West Virginia. South I'd be suprised to not see Villanova in the end, but Purdue and perhaps Duke, might prove to be tough to get past. |
Some of the top seeds i don't see advancing to the final four for various reasons...
Ohio state Tennessee Oklahoma State Vanderbilt BYU Florida West Virginia Texas Clemson Baylor Texas A&M Notre Dame |

I'm with KU all the way. They were #1 in the nation for all but about five minutes this season, and I don't see a better team in the NCAA tourney. It is theirs to lose.
|
...and lose they did. That late trey by Ali took brass.

In the mid-west, the door opens up to the final four for Michigan state, who don't have to face kansas in the sweet 16!
Xavier and pittsburgh face each other, but the winner will still have a tough task as Kansas state and Syracuse are still around. If Wisconcin can get past Kentucky, they should be in the final four. Highly anticpating a Purdue - Duke match-up, as the winner should have one foot in the final four. These are the teams we didn't see making it... Ohio state Tennessee Oklahoma State - OUT Vanderbilt - OUT BYU - OUT Florida - OUT West Virginia Texas - OUT Clemson - OUT Baylor Texas A&M Notre Dame - OUT |
What about Kansas & Nova?

they didn't pay much, where Michigan state and Purdue pay a fortune!! |
What a novel concept. Pick the teams you think will lose. You don't need to be smart as a whip to win at this game...
|
Only 1 team from each bracket makes it to the final four.
i prefer to have a team that pays me a lot of money to make it rather than a team that pays a small amount of money. Does that make sense? yeah, i figured. Btw, purdue and michigan st. both won today!!! If Kansas had won this thing, theres not much bragging rights. So you called it...yeah, you and ten million other people. ...but if a team like Purdue makes it? well, you count the people who called that at the start on one hand. Not to mention the $$$! |
East
West virginia - Washington I wouldn't be suprised if Washington causes the huge upset here. Kentucky - Cornell These two teams have vast differences, should be a very easy win for Kentucky West Syracuse - Butler This game is a joke. Rautins leads syracuse to this easy victory Kansas state - Xavier Kansas state this and kansas state that. I don't think that much seperates these two. I hope to see Xavier cause the upset here Midwest Ohio state - Tennessee I don't like either of these teams. Ohio state looks a little better out there, but i could go either way on this one. Michigan state vs Iowa state. Why the fuck do they keep going on about this iowa state team? SO they took out kansas, big deal. This michigan state team is based on their defence and coaching. Its an extraordinary school, who could easily make it to the final four and be competitive there. No iowa state is going to stop them, lol. Easy win for michigan state. South Baylor - St.Mary's Its very exciting to see st.mary's playing in the sweet sixteen! They face a superior opponent, but if they can hit the three-pointers, they might just keep it close, and then, you never know!!! Duke - Purdue A clash of the titans imo. Both teams are capable of not only reaching the final four, but making it to the final at least. Generally people have seriously underestimated this purdue team. Although i've been a duke fan my whole life, i would not be suprised at all to see purdue win this game. regardless, the winner of this game will be a favorite in my eyes to win it all |
