I need help from the British!!!
I need you Brits to contact BBC and tell them to hurry up and send the new Dr. Who over here. We are having fits to see the new Dr. in action. They don't seem to listen to me.
|

Matt Smith is a guest on the Jonathon Ross show tonight. Should be fun :) |

You should have thought of that before you listened to Paul Revere.

Why, he just told us the British were masturbating.

Fargon, we have a deal. I'll contact the BBC re the Doctor on your behalf (however fruitlessly) and you get on to Fox re Torchwood. Please.
Tell them if they de-gay Captain Jack they will face the wrath of thousands of slightly-older, slightly-manic, obsessed women around the world. And we (yes I count myself as one of them) are the most dangerous creatures imaginable when we are roused. We will launch a veritable jihad onto their heads. With fearsome weapons such as letter writing, moaning on forums and shaking our heads with mournful looks. See Ianto's shrine below as an example of our power. TBH, I can't see RTD and JB letting them. I mean this is the country that gave us five series of Queer As Folk when we only managed two! But I have heard much of the might of American Networks, and I fear them! |
There's some talk of Jack not being in the US Torchwood.
|
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
No. |

Going on about "the British are wanking" would have been more of a Boston Massacre sort of sentiment. And it wouldn't have entered into the Boston Tea Party. (To orient our British correspondents, these were before the serious shooting started in April 1775.) |
Actually, my take on it was that the British were masturbating successfully.
We are happy to admit to ropey seamen and all that. |
What Paul Revere's night-ride -- which he got arrested by a British patrol at the end of -- prefigured was the British column going from Boston to Concord to sieze a small arsenal there. The column got most of the way to Concord against stiffening militia resistance, then pulled back and was harried just about all the way back to the safety of Boston by converging militiamen firing over stone walls at it. The whole contretemps, and some disproportionate casualties owing to the Americans' better use of cover, had the British command privately going, "Oh fuck! Won't be as easy as we'd thought... these people are serious! Who saw that coming??"
|
Wtf? How did we get from Doctor Who to the Boston Tea Party?

Blame, in alphabetical order, Bruce, me, and Zen.
