Comcast movie confusion
This has been happening more and more lately. The Comcast movie guide confuses movies that have the same name.
Today it was 'Angel and the Badman', the channel guide listed the 2009 remake with Lou Diamond Phillips, which was actually on a different channel earlier this week. The movie actually showing was the 1947 version with John Wayne, which I prefer. The oddest mistakes are the ones where the movies aren't remakes but just happen to have the same title. A few months ago they listed 'Hannibal' as being the 1959 biopic of the guy who led an army across the Alps. History fans must have been shocked to discover the movie actually showing was the 2001 thriller/gore fest featuring Hannibal Lecter. Doesn't anyone proofread this stuff? |
Fuck Comcast.
Actually, just fuck cable providers in general, they're such greedy bastards. How in the hell do they get to charge so much and yet still inundate my tv watching with paid advertisements? |
They're still #2 . . .
of the companies complained about to the BBB. |
You may have heard of the bestselling book, The da Vinci Code, which was made into a movie.
Of course there is a soft-porn takeoff, titled The da Vinci Coed. Apparently one cable company got the two movies mixed up in their listings. |
