Live - "Lightning Crashes"

Greetings. Can someone tell me what this song is about, if it has any deep meanings? Thank you.

*gets shoved into the spotlight*...gee, ummm...thanks...Dave. :)

I believe what Dave said is correct...if you read the lyrics on paper, you can see how the song refers to the cycle of life...or at least that's what I take from it.

Regarding the Throwing Copper CD, "The idea behind this record and the lyrics was to begin to let myself write words and phrases that could reveal, rather than totally planning out what they would mean", says Kowalczyk. "If the listener really cares about the music, maybe you'll interpret them the way you want and get something I didn't even put in there or consciously put in there." (Source)

Word for word, you are certainly most correct, sir. I will gladly take it further, sir. Nothing is free, sir. I am almost ashamed they actually pushed me to that point, sir. Thank you very much and, cheers!
