Play of chicken
Hallo everyone!
There are so many critics of various leaders in this forum. But for some reason I couldn’t find anything about former Moldavian President Mihai Ghimpu. Meanwhile I live in Romania. And I’ve got a pen friend from Moldova. He tells such nasty things about this odious person that I couldn’t stand temptation and wrote in you forum. Preliminarily sorry for my English. :) But as I understood Ghimpu is an avid nationalist and says that he’s fighting for Moldavian wellness. In fact he acts just for his own benefit. For instance he was making a good profit of weapons’ supply of Georgia after its conflict with Russia during his being acting President of Moldova. They say that he controls Minister of Defence of Moldova Marinutsa. And this hombre provided military transport for those aims off-the-record. Imho weapons’ trade is most bitter sin for it forces others’ hands to murders and bloodshed. And lining pockets at the account of someone’s grief is even worse than deceiving his own people. So Ghimpu might add self-willed 100 Euro to the plane ticket’s price and making profit of fuel supply. But selling weapons to the quite inadequate person like Georgian President is equal of giving a bomb to the monkey. There now. |
Welcome to the cellar! Your english is no worse than mine.

Welcome IonLungu!
I confess I know little about the events you describe, but I'm interested. Tell us more. |
IonLungu, I was never being to Romania or Moldova. Was there being automachines in Romania? I have always was loving the Nadia Comaneci. Am her continue to put feets in back of hers head? Do not worry in terms of Moldova. Moldova be always moldy, and soon will create itself into penicillin.
Welcome yourself to cellar. |
giving the bomb to the monkey. I like that.
In my business, when one of our less than astute employees is being in possession of some kind of complex task or difficulty causing customer, we enjoy to shout, "baby with a gun!" and then look about at each other in glee and wink with pleasure at our own cleverness. be welcome, here Ion. We enjoy to see you write our language. Please take no offense if we assimilate some of your mistakes in diction or grammar. It is in fun, and not in malice. Are there still a lot of Wampires in Georgia, or has the Hollywood taken them all away from you? |
These occasional but consistent political posts about Georgia, surely they are all the same person, right? They all seem sincere enough, it's just strange. Like this person is just really, really hoping that if they get the word out to Americans on messageboards, we will somehow convince our government to intervene in Georgian affairs.
Not to say the American government wouldn't step in if it suited their purposes, but a bunch of individual citizens like us have no say in it one way or the other, Ion. |
Guys, stop being rude to the new guy. This isn't spam.
Clearly, there is a social trend underway throughout Eastern Europe, of getting onto the internet and raising awareness of tyranny and repression. Taking this at face value, IonLungu is standing up for human rights and freedom, possibly at risk to him-(her?)-self. Also, Moldavia is not the same as Georgia. :welcome: IonLungu |
I was just trying to apologize for spexx in his own ...particular...idiom.
oh, wait.... maybe the vampire question was over the line? yeah.. ok.. sorry bout that. hopefully IronLung has a sense of humidty. |
damn. I did it again.
maybe if I picture them as a hot chick, I can be nicer. I'm SO shallow. |
I thought we had some other regular posters from Georgia.
|

Wow, the internets are amazing. As little as 20 years ago, this person from a small out of the way place like Romania would have had NO way of talking about their world to us cosmopolitan Americans. I think it's pretty cool. Most problems are local, we have no idea what this guy is talking about and next week I'll be more involved in paying my new mortgage and all the start up costs for electricity and internet service, wondering which package I should get with the dish network. Should I get the 120 channels or the 500???? Such decisions....my wife wonders why I like to be deployed. Life is simple there. So welcome IonLungu! I wish you the best and look forward to hearing more from you.
