Big-ass lava lamp
<img src="http://www.giantlavalamp.com/images/main_day_m.jpg">
The town of Soap Lake, Washington was once somewhat famous for its hot mineral bath spas, but its fortunes have declined over the years. A group of civic-minded sorts is proposing to build a 60-foot tall lava lamp in the middle of town in an effort to boost tourism. The website and a gallery of the proposed structure can be seen here. I'm not too sure about placing something like this in the middle of a street intersection. But if I happened to be in the general area I would drive a few miles out of my way to see it. |

What makes them think that the blobs would scale to the size of the object they are in?

How did those people get up on the balcony?

It's not a real picture. It's composite.

I knew that...I just thought it looked kind of funny with no stairs or anything.

I'm sure they'd tell you that they're on the other side :)

Go in the back door and lie on the bulb. Once you've warmed up, you'll float to the balcony. Or you can wait, and float all the way to the top.
