OMG, the Israelis attacked a...

... chicken coop today.

How dare they kill innocent chickens. :)

Have they gone too far?

One of their national heroes died Saturday...they had to let that hurt out somehow.

Maybe Sharon burned a couple bowls watching Chicken Run and got a little paranoid.

If you've ever been downwind of a chicken producing facility you know that it is undeniably biological weaponry.

My best friend growing up lived directly across the street from a chicken processing plant in southeastern Missouri. They used to do most of the killing at night...and you could tell.

Why Thank You Jaguar...

I'll accept the nomination and hope I win. :)

The point was, the Israeli's just don't know when to stop anymore. They have lost their minds - attacking a chicken coop? C'mon!!! How stupid can they get now?

Syc, I know you passed it, but you probably didn't realize at the time. (I've seen your Ocean City trip report on your website, and it's good, I liked an "outsider's" viewpoint).

Anyway, in Salisbury, MD, on Rt. 50, is the Purdue chicken processing plant. A stoplight is right there at the entrance for the "chicken-trucks". Hope that you never get caught at that light on a hot summer day on your way to the beach with no AC in your car. Cause if you windows are open - Yuck... It's the worst smell you'll ever smell. Even the McDonald's across the street has moved, as of last year, because the customers, (mainly beach goers and comers), complained. McD's moved to the other side of Salisbury, just off Rt. 50.

Syc, I loved your take on OC, MD. We vacation there every year since it's close. I can do without the boardwalk sometimes, but I really enjoyed you review.

Re: Perdue Plant in Maryland

I remember a lot of strange smells along US 50 on the way to OC...that was probably one of them. :) I'm familiar with it now, but only after living in this part of the country.

Thanks for the props, mw. Sadly, that's the one and only time I've been in OC, MD...but I still remember the place like it was yesterday. Since moving to Philadelphia, our beach escapades usually take us to Belmar, NJ (an hour south of NYC), though we've hit several of the South Jersey shore points.

Depending on finances this summer, we might hit the Delaware shoreline, although a trip back home (to St. Louis) is overdue.

I know what you mean, my family keeps asking when i'm coming to Cincinnati. Hmmmm, let me think about that a second... go to Cincy to see relatives, ( the food is GREAT however ), or spend my few $$$ at the beach for a few days ?????????

BEACH ME :D

"Sorry Mom, we can't make it this year." "SHHH, don't tell her we went to the beach.... OK?"

The Delaware shore is great also, much more like a real beach, with fewer homes and hotels, and real dunes, I love it up there also.
