I MAY FOSTER!
 

The lady who runs the rescue was super weird but interesting and we hit it off really well. I was 100% honest with her about my illnesses, my finances (debt and good pay), and we had a good connection. She wants to say yes but has a waiting rule. I will hear back on Tues.
Della and Toby are a pair. Toby was too busy sniffing, but as soon as we got inside, Della was trying to trying to get him to play. When they laid together, it was like a match made in heaven. Toby is adorable! His foster mom is now not sure he's dandi, but just more long hair dachshund, but he doesn't shed! Or barely does. If I foster him, his care will be paid for. That takes away my mom's biggest objection. He did try to piddle on the carpet, but he got caught before he got much out. I think it was mostly the excitement. He will be a handful. Also he's a climber! I wonder whats thats from.

If you foster him, what does that mean for you guys in the long term?

The goal is for me to adopt him after a few months. He will be no longer be promoted, and she will say he is adopted on his page.

Oh and the decision is made. He will move to my home as a foster on Jan 23!
