I was just reading elsewhere that China is seeing dramatic growth in meat consumption, including US imports.

After the storms in MS. that killed a bunch of chickens. Sandersons farms released a statement that it didn't affect them. Next week chicken tenders were up a buck a pound.
Strange? NO!

That may be from any one of the major players who have their hands in the food supply. The thieves we bailed out don't have those flaky bonds to play with anymore so they've moved to futures.

Brown Shrimp supply from gulf are to be down this year. So our friendly importers just added around 5 bucks a pound. Unless last weeks adds were a mis-print. I think it read something like 2 lbs of large shrimp 28 bucks. I stopped reading at that point.
