No one is up. Is anyone up?

Hey west coast dwellars, it's not so very late for you ... and you Brit and Euro dwellars, where are you? Don't you get up by 7:00? And you Aussies? Two in teh arvie, really? Isn't anyone up?

This is against Dwellar philosophy. We should all be able to bitch to each other 24/7, no?

Never mind. Or if you do ... never mind. You all have stuff to do. But if not, check in here once in awhile. Maybe we can establish an insomniac's thread.

Bitch away, someone... well, someone-s, will read it eventually. That's the difference between a message board and chat room.

orthodoc 08-13-2014 01:40 AM

Never mind.

By the time anyone reads this, the problem will be solved or not.
But of course it'll be solved.

I am up. I was up to my ears in fondant at 2pm today though. I made a minecraft cake. It was a bit dodgy really, but as a last minute thing, it was ok. I wouldn't put it on my page though. haha

Like being a cannibal, you can always eat your mistakes. :haha:

Hi all - sorry I popped out to get a paper - that's always a killer for eating up time in huge chunks. Did I miss anything apart from breakfast? Brit's are well up - past up. We get up (well, I do) just about when you are thinking 'it's about time I finally gave into my body's demands to let it have some rest and shuteye'.

Ironically (or should that be coincidentally - it's getting late - I'll let you decide), it's now that end of the day here in sunny, sunny England (sunny earlier that is, before it went all dark and moonful about 4 hours ago) so I'm currently having that rest and shuteye argument with my body. You on the other hand are now not about to get up - well, maybe you are if you are in Hawaii. Does Hawaii count as today, or tmrw like Aliantha (hi, lady!)'s land does (which is also up now)? Too late in the day for me to get my head around that international dateline phenomenon, but, hey, you and Bruce have all the afternoon and evening to do so. Leave me a note about it before you go to bed, please, for when I get up a few seconds later. I promise not to go out for a paper again.

Hey CycleF! I am indeed up. I am doing not one thing today. Taking the day off. Well, i do have one order to fill, but that wont take long. :)

Welcome back Cyclefrance,

That must be one helluva paper.

Very good to see you again.

Yes, you missed a bunch of crap. Lucky you.

I will hold you to your word about future paper trips.

:)

You got pastry too, didn't you. And dallied around until you'd eaten the all, that's what took so long, isn't it.
Don't even start.. I see the crumbs on your lapel.
Oh well, we didn't need the calories anyway, so all is forgiven.

As I recall, you were being disowned for spilling paint on her car's carpet, or something.;)

Cyclefrance 08-14-2014 04:59 AM

OOooo. Goose pimples, Bruce. Sent shivers down my spine that you remembered all that - also because it reminded me how amazingly my ex-wife could recall during any argument what I exactly said and did to the minute in detail whether it was 10 minutes or 10 years ago (or maybe she couldn't and just got away with it because I certainly had no idea if she was right or not).

Yes, pink emulsion paint - a gallon of it - sadly no poetic retroactive post-divorce justice - it was MY car! Gone now (paint damage and car) along with the subsequent Audi Estate which was quite nice until it had an oil pump failure that also took out the turbo - totally ruined my bank account - and it seems to be a common problem with that particular engine although Audi-VW don't seem to get that particular piece of mounting evidence. Have a Hyundai estate instead now - Oscar (my dog) likes it and so do I. Think I will buy another next time around.

BTW, I will have been up 4.5 hours at the time of this posting - must observe the topic rules!

TTFN - just off to get a paper (ha! - that got you - I'm not really)
