OK, you might not like animals...
...but I defy anyone not to be moved by this story.

http://s22.postimg.org/u9o8nh7mp/Bronwen2.jpg BBC I sometimes think that I get on with animals better than I do with people. They don't judge you and they don't lie to you. With animals, it's a case of what you see is what you get. Many are extraordnarily sensitive to mood and vulnerability. I lost my old horse back in 2007. He was, it's fair to say, a bit clumsy at times and, as with any horse, by sheer size he could do you some damage without meaning it. However, one of the other owners at the farm had a girl of eleven or twelve years of age. She was a tiny little soul but my old horse was as gentle as a lamb with that child. He'd touch that kid with his nose every bit as gently as the mare in the photo above touched the frail old lady. Carruthers (Dedicated horse and dog man). |

Well - that got the old tear ducts busy.

Didn't it, though?

I just read this story and was going to share it too. Happy that they were able to do that for her

They had made a movie together.

Let's hope they are reunited at Fiddlers Green.
