Just another Saturday night date at Walmart. Speaking as one whose small town's social life revolves around Walmart: as in, Prom rituals at Walmart, engagements, weddings, local church social outings at Walmart ... if you can imagine it, believe that it's true.

Of course, Ortho, when everyone in town shops there, most of the employees live in town(except the ones making a decent wage), and they have gathering rooms large enough to give the anti-union/love walmart presentations, it becomes the center of activity. Of course you enter and exit through the gift shop. :rolleyes:

The Walmart culture has outpaced the admin, who are slower than Disney. If they had the same acumen, they'd be marketing package events and vacations.

Interesting point Ortho. Sometimes organizations for whatever reason discount the culture they build. Fox News and for that matter the GOP seem to be trying to dig themselves out of similar holes. Both kept appealing to the "antis" until they became ungovernable. The Dems did a similar thing appealing to crony businesses and throwing workers under the bus. Now the Party culture is completely isolated from their one time base.
