mmmmm...PIZZA

Tonight its Tony's thin crust with crushed garlic and pepperoni. Here is a list of local pies we need to work through.

I am once again able to eat pizza. (oh joy. the last year or so prior to the gallbladder removal I haven't been able to enjoy pizza, although I'd throw caution to the wind and have it anyway, damn the consequences.)

I pushed the envelope on pizza recently ... Got a gourmet deep dish buffalo chicken pizza from Main Street Pizza in Norristown. (Home of the Big Slice™ ... which is truly the biggest damn slice of pizza you have ever seen. They don't sell whole pies. There aren't any boxes large enough)

Exquisite Pizza. (for fancy-ass deepdish stuff)

Their thin pies are excellent also ... but the total Norristown best pizza is Via Veneto.

Tonight, however, is Friday, which means FREE DRUG REP PIZZA at the nuthouse. (whoo hoo). :)

I made pizza just the other night, and finished the sauce with calzones last night. Papa John is right -- the key is the quality ingredients. :)

Hey.....I want FREE DRUG REP PIZZA too!

xoxoxoBruce 04-25-2003 09:49 PM

I'll settle for the free drug.

wolf 04-26-2003 12:30 AM

The free drug in this case may come with complimentary drooling and odd facial tics.

Stick with the Pizza. ;)

(tonight was plain, pepperoni, and mushroom & sausage) :D

Extra large with 'shrooms?

That's a different pizza restaurant in town. ;)

(and also why we don't allow our patients to order pizzas from those places, which will charge extra for something extra placed under the pie, if you know the secret code word o' the week)

That's a given while I'm waiting for the pizza guy. Also nose prints on the front storm door.:D
Kent's in Parkside and Aston have been cosistantly good for the last 18 years. Ground beef, Ham, Bacon, Pepperoni, Sausage, Steak, Chicken, Shrimp,Pineapple, Onion, Mushroom, Spinach, Broccoli, Green and sweet peppers, Hot peppers, Tomatoes and Black olives in any combination.

And anchovies :vomit:

I love anchovies.

Just not on pizza.

They are divine on a big Greek salad.

I had pizza from the two greatest joints of all time--Imo's and Cecil Whittaker's, both St. Louis area pizza chains that specialize in thin crust.

The Imo's one was disappointing--they burned the cheese a bit. But the one I had from Cecil's was superb. Cooked just right, and delicious. And Cecil's has the best deals--buy one pizza (M, L, or XL), and get a second one for free. Feed a family of four for $10 (depending on their appetites).

There's another great pizza chain based in the Washington, DC area called Ledo Pizza. They are ridiculously anal about keeping the quality top notch among their franchises...and it shows.
