2/17/2004: Record skydive
http://cellar.org/2004/recorddive.jpg
What we have today is a new world record for greatest number of skydivers involved in a jump. It's 357 divers, from 42 countries, diving in Thailand. They finished the job on their last opportunity, jumping from four separate C130s at 24,000 feet, and somehow linking up for a total of 6 seconds. The whole thing was monitored by international judges. Good work I say. Good work. full story |

Great...
I jumped with the army and it's completly different but extremly thrilling. If you have the opportunity, jump! |
it's a shame to see an opportunity wasted like that.
357 divers, and they couldn't spell "Eat at Joe's?" or "Whale Penis"? I mean if you're gonna dream, dream big, man. i wish they would consult me beforehand with things like this. it's all in the planning. sheesh  |
And 2499 sucessful parachute openings. Cool.:)

OK...you on the left...move a little closer.
C'mon everyone, squeeze in. Closer...closer! That's it! Don't scratch your balls, Sven. Now, where's the older ones? Them in back please! Hurry, we only have so long here! Now, down in front! That's it, kneel down so we can see the others! NOW! Everyone say....OOOOOPPPPPPSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! :D |
I can't beleive so many people thought it was a good idea to jump out of <edit> four perfectly good airplanes</edit> ..
|
In January, 672 divers set a record in Bangkok. Maybe Radar saw it.

Get real. He hasn't been out of the hotel room yet.
Oh, except for the time he had to carry her parents out of the room and park them in the lobby. For the rest of the honeymoon. |
