I admire you for being so persistent, but you REALLY need someone to edit your work before you post it or submit it anywhere. There are tons of mispellings, incorrect grammar, and most of your sentences don't contain subjects and/or verbs. I am a former editor, and trust me, you need to work on your grammar and spelling before anyone will take your writing seriously. I'm not trying to be mean--I'm just being honest. Sorry!

I thought it was the weakest of the Narnia books. Lewis had, by this point, completely abandoned any attempts to write his own story, and was in full-on preachy allegory mode.

Mystic, I don't know why you continue to attempt to turn the cellar into a writers' group. It really just isn't, although there are many creative people here, writing and friendly critism is just not a strength of these boards. By the way, I consider C.S. Lewis's greatest work to have been The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe . I can still see the illustrations from that book in my mind's eye. Must have been 10 or 12 when I first came across it!
