This baby picture came through my email

So I copied it to my 'personal home pages' and will link to it here:

One can imagine mommy and daddy's reactions.

*lmao* That was great!

Undertoad 01-08-2002 03:32 PM

Oh gawd yes. At 147K, it's a bit much to post directly to the thread. I will if I can crop it a little and save it in a smaller size, would that be OK?

Degrees 01-08-2002 03:39 PM

Shrinking the picture

Feel free.

There ya go. I improved the contrast a little, too.

It's a great image! The kid is triumphant, holding the marker up, all proud 'n' stuff.

As a youngest sibling myself, I can feel baby's pain underneath her restraining belt. There are years to go at the mercy of BIG SISTER. Hang in there little one....soon you will wield a marker of your own.

dave 01-08-2002 04:33 PM

"Hey kiddo, watch the baby for me, okay? Oh, and here's a marker. Stay out of trouble!"

Joe 01-09-2002 11:00 AM

Oh my god!

That's the funniest thing I ever saw in my life!

Hope it wasn't permanent...

Griff 01-09-2002 11:09 AM

Oh Man!

Thats Great!

Undertoad 01-09-2002 02:50 PM

I've submitted it to Fark, too... not saying they'll accept it, but it would make for some fine Photoshopping. Great work Degrees!

<sigh> I didn't find this funny at all. My first feeling was concern for the smaller child. It really looks like that marker was passed over his/her left eye several times. Hopefully it was closed at the time, but the older child probably doesn't have the presence of mind to understand the danger.

I just hope that something worse doesn't happen with these two kids...

(It's not that I don't have a sense of humor. Maybe it's just a reaction of a fairly new mom)

dave 01-09-2002 09:19 PM

I thought the same thing too. So it's not just the reaction of a fairly new mom - us not-even-a-dad-yet types can be concerned too. Luckily, looking at the close-up, the kid looks alright.

jeni 01-11-2002 01:58 AM

i thought about that too, but the baby on the right looks to be in pretty alright shape. it doesn't appear to have been crying, it's just sort of sitting there looking like it has no idea what's going on...which is what babies do most of the time.

i thought the picture was hilarious. and very cute.

it reminded me of something dave and i would've done when we were little...

dave 01-11-2002 10:27 AM

Whatever. I was too busy lifting dressers off of you to write on your face. :)

jeni 01-11-2002 02:11 PM

yeah, and peeing on me. -smirk-
