Einstein Puzzle
|
No.

The German and no, I did not cheat. I also don't think this was posed by Einstein. I think this because I remember doing these puzzles in elementary school.
|
i did cheat, but that means i know it can be done

Remember similar puzzle in Life Magazine in the 60's - subject was around train driver, train guard and conductor - had to discover who was the driver, I think, otherwise almost identical. Might find the issue concerned - it's in the attic somewhere - will post if do.

Friend of mine wrote these for Dell Puzzle Magazines, before she went crazy.

Well thank her for me. She has provided me with years of mental exercise and enjoyment.

I remember doing these in elementry school in my ELP (expanded learning program) class. You just set up a grid with the options going on the two axis, and X out things that ca'nt be, until you get the answer. Kind of fun when you are killin' time.
|
And rather difficult if you miss one of the rules. :(
What makes this one more complicated is you need several grids, and you need to be able to use relationships between different grids to eliminate boxes. |
