I think this may be the winner. This really is a corner in Brea, CA and yes, there really are two starbucks across the intersection from each other, and yes, there is a third one across the parking lot of the same shopping center.

As CEO Howard Schultz said in a Newsweek interview a few years back, the key isn't getting the ants to come to your stores, it's putting your stores where the ants are already going.

The Starbucks strategy is redundant, but brilliant. Wish I could sell a cup of joe for $3.50.
