I once stimulated the daylights out of my temporal lobe one time when I was fixing the sink and tried to stand up before getting out from underneath it--I was in a hurry. I daresay I stimulated the eardrums of the neighbors as well, as I cursed and swung at the little birdies circling my head.

My temporal lobe stimulates itself all the time. They give me medicine for it so I don't have seizures. I assure you, "the feeling of a presence,disorientation and perceptual irregularities" is not in any way pleasant or interesting.
