Having grown up in Atlanta, I'm used to seeing snow at least once a year, although some years we went without. That light dusting was enough to build a decent snowman if you were good enough at collection the stuff by rolling. You might use an entire front yard's worth of snow to build one snowman. Of course the grass, bermuda, dies in the winter so you end up with what looks more like a sasquatch. Ugliest snowmen I've ever seen come from the south!

Hah! We have an office in New York and the bitching and moaning is endless when a winter storm rolls through. Suddenly, all those storms we get down here...what do you call them, again? Well, they forget that we deal with those from six months out of the year.
We got our tree, today. It was 80F. Christmas? Doesn't feel it! :D
