There's just something about the rhino babies that makes 'em interesting. In this one the mom is named Betty, and the newborn and all are at Berlin's Friedrichsfeld Zoo. Look at the pink belly! Happy Friday.

Congrats!

After finally reading Douglas Adams' "Last Chance to See," I have a little more respect for all things not me. We all should feel so good about little gray four footed animals with horns!

Little guy is smiling coz, as my three year-old nephew, Max, says: "My mudder loves me."

Smiling... or grimacing? "No Mom, don't lick my bum again!"

A face only a mother could love.
I bet Betty's glad they aren't born with the horn on the nose.
Someone needs to clean up their living quarters.

He even has mom's neck wrinkles......and a mischievious grin. :D

Hmmm. Still no hippo for Gayla Peevey.

Actually, according to your link, she actually did get a hippo. But apparently she didn't really want one, so she regifted it to some zoo...

"Oh sure, Gayla. But remember you HAVE to keep it OUTSIDE. And it's food and vet bill is coming out of YOUR allowance! Gosh knows what the neighbors are gonna say. One complaint, Gayla. I mean one complaint and that rhino is so outa here."

Just have to convince the neighbors that rich people use rhino poop for those beautiful lawns and gardens. ;)
