Wow...I had no idea there was a whole genre of music especially for gay people. Am I the only straight person who was oblivious to this?

Certainly there are specialties. I suppose I'd always recognized that certain artists or songs are particularly popular among gay people. I guess I just considered it as labeling though and so never gave it too much credence. Maybe I should have.

Interesting to find out that it's more than endless repetitions of "It's Raining Men," The Village People, and Liza Minelli.

I thought Cher had mostly replaced Liza by now...

I thought it was all about Barb...

And Kylie is the newest icon...apparently.

Most gays and lesbians listen to a much broader range of music than what's represented on JD's site.
