Hey, we're barely halfway through the season, and hopes (not mine) are still high. We all know how this will end, and will have the Winter months to carefully look back on this Summer, or Fall, and find the EXACT moment that the Sox fell apart. Less experienced fans still point to Aaron Boone's homer last year, or undeservedly blame Grady Little's compliance with Pedro, but I think that it was that whole "Closer by committee" nonsense that never let them pull ahead. This year, they obviously fell apart against the Yankees, and those of us in Philadelphia, have a good idea how Francona will be a big factor in their later demise. Too bad, it would be nice to see them win it all.
