a little late to get in on the conversation, but I was on vacation for a couple weeks...

Pre-baby = 5'2" ~130lbs, comfortable in a size 6 jean. I was doinglots of running (4-5mi 4-5 days a week) and some swimming & biking, even completed a sprint triathlon. 20 months post baby = 5'2'' ~132lbs, comfortable in a size 10 jean I now only have time to run 2-3mi 3-4 days a week. No one's told my ass i'm not breastfeeding anymore so it can lose the extra fat stores. And yes, i quit eating for two a LONG time ago. No amount of pilates has been able to get rid of my new "baby-belly" either (as my hubby affectionately calls it).

Anyone else care to share how procreating has changed their bodies? Please? I'd feel a whole lot better... And does #2 (or more)do even more damage??? oh, and my husband is still gaining his 'sympathy' weight' as i type this!

Strength does not come from how much weight you can lift, or how many miles you can run. It comes from knowing that you set a goal, and rose to the challenge. Strength comes from within.
