No, unlike the Vietnam era; this is not so much a generational conflict. While idealogies were certainly important in the shisms that tranfixed the nation back in the late 60's and early 70's, today I would say that the split is purely along the lines of idealogy and political philosophies. My friend who is 25 years younger and I both worked for the Kerry campaign.
