I have that inside outside voice thing going on all the time at work.

Especially when I say "can I get you something to drink?"
And they say

NOOOO!. I'll have a water (nodding).

And I SAY"sure, I'll be right back with that"
and I'm THINKING: "WTF do you plan on DOING with it if you're not going to DRINK it?????
