Sycamore is right. The Electoral College did the real electing, no matter what people say about Florida.

This is not a new problem that took office along with George W Bush. (Yes, I use the whole name, with respect)
This has been around for two hundred-odd years and there's no end in sight. Even during the (overrated) Clinton
presidency. So please don't blame the current officeholder for a problem that is not solveable, which predates the Federal government, which will last as long as the Institution does, and which sometimes works for the little guys.
