Just be careful it's not like this place.

We did travel to a place in PA that made Lebanon Bologna (I can't remember if it was Weavers or Seltzers). The whole place smelled like wood smoke from the smokehouse.

My wife and I had a Tastykake discussion. It turns out her favortie is the chocolate Hostess cake with Tastkykake taking second and third place. Having tried both I was stunned. To me Tastkykakes taste closer to 'real' than anything Hostess makes. The very fact the Tasty Pies have a 5 day shelf life shows that they don't use preservatives. In the snack world, only the good die young. If it has a 2 year shelf life, stick it in an MRE box and save it for emergencies.

The best Tastykakes are the 'special feature' flavor pies like strawberry and pineapple. Peanut butter cakes which are 'enrobed', are good in the freezer.

Before I even knew that you liked them, I was considering sending you a care package of Tastkycakes if you were down in Louisiana for more than a month. Send me your address if you can actually get mail.
