IotD is a little late to this one, and it's all my fault as I saw this but for some reason
did not think it that remarkable at first. I am slipping, you know, in my old age.
Anyway, this burger was documented, and now widely linked to, in
this blog entry. This is a "100x100" In-And-Out burger, ordered by eight very silly people; it's 2 buns, 100 patties of burger, 100 slices of cheese. It came to $97.66.
And they ate it all. And they discovered that the meat was not so bad, but the
cheese... foul.
Where did it all happen? Where else... Vegas!
IotD has previously documented
Denny's Pub's 9-pound burger, and feels that Denny's is the original large burger from which all other Internet big burger trends follow. Even if a larger burger is produced, they're all just capitalizing on the hard work of Denny's Pub.
