I saw two movies over the weekend...
Silent Hill – I was all ready to have the poop scared outta me with Mr. chainsaw on one side of me and another male friend on the other – to keep me safe, of course. But, I was a bit disappointed. It wasn't nearly as scary as playing the game in the dark with a bunch of squealing girls. Some spooky parts, but it could have been much better. Those little black baby things that walk all creepily
They should have had more of them in the movie. And the acting was pretty bad, but it’s a horror flick. I wasn’t expecting Oscar performances.
American Dreamz – Pretty darn funny and surprisingly “dark” humor. Mandy Moore continues to surprise me. Did you see her in “Saved”? I always saw her as a typical teeny bopper pop star, but she’s damn funny… or she chooses damn funny roles. Willem Dafoe was very funny. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll keep the details to myself.
