You're on "their" roads, acting as a distraction. How dare you jog along side a piece of infrastructure designed only for automobiles! How dare you threaten their way of life, their commute, their livelihood!
After being run off the road several times (even while riding in the designated lane), I think it might be worse on a bicycle.
