I read a very long and complex explanation about how during the last generation change of owners, the inheritance taxes, estate taxes, yada, yada, yada, almost caused them to lose the company, so they all left the country. Moved to Ireland I think.
Also, rather than trying to sell the soup they make for American tastes, in the far flung corners, they're tailoring soups to local consumers.
