I failed my very first college class. It was English 101 at a small college that took a lot of pride in its English Department. They wanted to send a message with a very strict grading policy.

I hated that grade but I think I write better now because of that smack upside the head. That was 30 years ago and I remember it like it was two hours ago.

Don't let it bother you. Use it to motivate yourself.
