But, it's like everything else.... if there weren't bad sportsmen out there, there'd be no good sportsmanship either.

At least in swimming (my kids' sport) almost all calls are objective, so it's harder for pushy parents to be bad sports without making it obvious to all present that they're complete eejits. Harder, but not impossible.
