There's still a Denny's on the outskirts of West Chester, on the north side of Route 3. A quick Store Locator hunt revealed stores in Media, Clifton Heights and Essington.

As for Pizza Hut, a friend of mine who used to work in pizza delivery said that she heard that one guy owned a bundle of franchises in the Philly area -- 25 or so -- and recently said "Screw it, I quit." In the carnage that followed, most of those franchise stores closed up. Your mileage may vary.
