I know some people in the porn business (not phone sex, but websites and videos) and they have had a lot of trouble with the newer federal regulations requring fairly ridiculous recordkeeping on the part of vendors, such as you have to keep copies of people's identification proving they are over 18, keep a record of addresses and computer addresses, etc. (I forget the exact requirements, but I did read the statute at one time and they seemed fairly onerous to me). They are trying to legislate against underage pornography, which is fine, but it makes it tougher for the more legitimate sexual industry.

ETA: And I am in favor of sexual industry. :p
