I got the timetravel reference....I didn't get the ex-islander reference

I listen to BBC Radio 4 most mornings whilst i am getting ready and pottering about. In fact it is usually on as background noise when I am in the house. There's a morning news/current affairs programme, hourly news updates and another news/current affairs programme every evening at 5pm. I like it because it's generally less obviously biased than much of the TV news and gives a good level of analysis. There's also a nighttime programme (11pm) looking at what's been going on in Westminster every weeknight when Parliament is in session and a weekly roundup of Westminster issues at the weekend.

I also watch Channel 4 news some evenings and quite often watch BBC News 24. If I have missed the main news i quite often go onto the BBC News website and I sometimes buy a Guardian newspaper, or read the free Metro paper on the bus.

Some weeks though I don't really listen to/watch any of the above. Depends on my mood.

What I love though, is that if something major has happened (and actually often if something minor has happened too) I can usually rely on the Cellar to have a debate on it by the time I log in.
