Both of these teams are accomplishing less than expected so far this year.
Both teams will improve, but I expect Detroit to actually make a serious challenge to win their division.
The bats will get better, but its kind of hard to have a winning record when a pitcher with the capablities that Verlander has is not on track.
And your #1 key in the Bullpen Zumaya, is on the DL.
I do expect Verlander to improve dramatically.

I have nothing against the McGowan, its just that I don't expect him to be able to keep it in the park against some of these hitters.

Lackey, unlike some other pitchers, needs less time to find his groove.

I won't be suprised if Contreras continues his superb form.
