CDRW Issues

I run WinXP Pro, (and I like it) I have a CDRW installed on it that until last night, was working like a charm.

I was copying some files to CD, and burnt one without issue. It reads perfectly. Started another, and the burn process would never complete. It would simply hang and spin the disk for 3-5 minutes (If left alone, it would still be running) I'm guessing it was perfecting it's coaster maker process.

Tried 2 different programs to verify that it wasn't the XP CD Wizard, and am getting a multitude of 'odd' errors ranging from the file is too big for the CD - which it's not, I was testing the process with a single copy of my resume` - to stating that the CD was full - again, which it is not, it was brand new.

Called technical support who had me repeat the process of trying with 2 different programs. (Real helpful guy there...had the personality of a rock.)

Anyway, would anyone have any idea as to what's going on with this? I am going to have a tech come out sometime this week (Home support is part of my service contract ) But if I can fix it on my own, I'd like to be able to.

Thanks in Advance
