So tonight ABC will start a new series called Cupid, about a guy who thinks that he is Cupid, the god of love.

This is a remake of the 1998 series Cupid, starring Jeremy Piven, the guy playing Ari in Entourage and who was great in the film PCU. The 1998 series only went 15 episodes, and I'm not sure all of them aired. I watched it, and I thought Piven was great.

This has happened before. In the series "Forever Knight", the lead in the pilot was played by Rick Springfield before being recast.
