Going to see what WoW looks like and might pick that up.

I used to catogorize myself in the ex EQ player until about 2 months ago. The best friend & her hubby & my BF got to do beta testing for final fantasy XI (online) for the PS2. I'm sitting here thinking - God - this is so much like EQ. And then had to demonstrate to them. Then some of my RL friends conned me into joining their guild. (Which is a very uber un-guild - bunch of friends & their toons goofing off) I've been sucked into it ever since. Its maddening. I'm now a 51 barbarian shaman and loving every minute of it. I mean - I never considered myself to really like MMORPG's - I was a single person - the final fantasys, diablo, warcraft, etc. But ever since these last 2 months of EQ - I'm hooked. Not to the fact that I would leave a child in the car or that I can't set it aside and go out and have some fun or that I'm skipping work to play - but I'm still in love with my game. Luckily - the BF understands. (He's a computer network engineer) So basically we are two computer geeks in love.
