Yeah, it's a whale. Humpback. We get a lot of them along the eastern seaboard at this time of year. That was the first time I'd ever seen them so close though. The experience was almost spiritual in its awesomeness. It made my day...week...month even. |
I went on a whalewatch on the left coast two weeks ago. I've been on two previous whalewatch trips, one out of Boston, and another out of L.A. This most recent one was from Santa Barbara. We saw blue whales and dolphins, along with some other critters.
It was a great trip, thanks to Dramamine.
