Hard liquor won't go bad. Can't go bad. Esp. if it's in glass bottles. Wine, mead, beer etc. can go bad.

Hard liquor is distilled, it's just alcohol and water and whatever aromatics/flavors will gas-off at distillation temps. Possibly some of the flavor of the gin might fade, but there's not going to be any enzymatic activity in a sealed bottle of hard liquor.

As always, I'm just a squirell, so take my advice at your own risk.
