At one time Indiana had like 3 time zones...impossible to keep track of what time it really was...a few counties on the east and west borders both had holdouts, I believe. I think the east one is now in line with the rest of the state.
So when you hear people say "it's 5 O'clock somewhere" they're probably talking about Indiana. I like to say "it's 5:23 somewhere" since time changes in hour increments.
