Thanks all. I was afraid that people took Radar seriously when he tried to say the Cellar's method of operation is too expensive.
The truth of the matter is, each of his proposed changes would have been more expensive than the current deal, not less. But I refused to have that conversation with him, partly because it would have required me to give out specific details of bandwidth, where the system is and exactly what is consists of, etc. That's just not a good idea, security-wise. But more importantly, Radar decided it was too expensive before knowing how it was hosted and how much it costs. It was all about him, not about the Cellar, and frankly, fuck him.
At this point we have an excellent deal on colocation, and the cost has actually gone down. We have enough bandwidth to handle the next foam accident/test IotD without concern, and we can afford to actually grow, if that should happen.
