I know I throw this out there far too often, but here it is. I lost 250 lbs. with diet and exercise. I've kept all but about 10-15 lbs of it off, and most of the gain has been muscle.

I hit my lowest weight in mid-2005 at 220 lbs (I'm 6'6").

I'm not a fan of gastric bypass. It's fine when it's used to save a life that is in immediate danger. I know some people have done it and succeeded. But most of the people I know that did it used it as a workaround for their lack of self-control and discipline.

There's no such thing as a free lunch, even if that lunch costs thousands of dollars. (I love faux wisdom.)
