Just a few days ago a cow walked through a bank and now a bison (Buffalo?) in a kitchen reminds me of a dreadful flood in our valley some 20 years ago. Many farm animals drowned and one, a huge dairy cow with massive horns floated across garden walls, and through the large kitchen window at the home of my aunt. When the floodwaters subsided my aunt and her family returned home to find a swollen dead cow draped across the kitchen floor. I think it was the talk of the valley for many years.
