Around here, at five in the morning, the dog (
or cat, as the case may be) gets thrown out the door with a heartfelt cussing. He let the dog out to shit, not to roam the countryside at his whim and fancy. Which he apparently did. He'd never went gallivanting around before...
But the fact does remain...he's gone.
